The Honour Roll is an award and recognition mechanism to promote the values of IAOMAS as a whole and the characteristics that this organisation values.
This award should in no way impede on any one martial art system or detract from the skills that your instructor is attempting to develop in you. It can be used in complement to build up morale and awareness amongst your student body.
The Honour Roll 2005 honours outstanding individuals who uphold the highest ideals of IAOMAS, and who by virtue of their personalities are models for which all others in this organisation strive to emulate.
The theme for 2005 is friendship.
In an industry where egos run wild, it takes the couragous person to extend himself in an open and welcoming manner. Friendliness helps make each person a better individual, forges a strong martial network around oneself, and helps make your world a better place to live.
Friendship is the currency which drives IAOMAS. It takes a leap of faith to reach out over the internet, an even greater leap to meet other members face-to-face. Yet this has happen and will continue to occur becuase of the members in this organisation.
Far from being a weakness, the strength and solidarity of IAOMAS members shows how much a little friendship goes. We salute all individuals who understand this secret. We recognise those individuals who keep this warmth alive.
